The collection's 10 three-piece sets are a wonderfully social way to tell the entire story, beginning with this 1900 "Regency." Crafted of bone china with lavish 22-karat gold accents on gracefully scalloped shapes, the teacup, saucer, and dessert plate illustrate the transition from the Victorian to the Edwardian era and the bold style of the Regency period. Unusual color combinations in rich, lustrous shades were popular, and this pattern showcases solid cobalt blue bands alternating with maroon and cobalt flower blossoms on a pure white background.
